SAI International School is proud to celebrate the exceptional international success of its young karateka, Chitraksh, who showcased his remarkable talent and discipline at two major karate championships in 2025.
At the Thailand Open Karate Championship 2025, held from June 26 to 29 at the prestigious Chulalongkorn University Sports Complex in Bangkok, Thailand, Chitraksh clinched the Gold Medal in the U10 Individual Boy’s Kata category. This global event, hosted by the Thailand Karate Federation, witnessed participation from over 400 athletes across various nations, making Chitraksh’s victory even more commendable.
Soon after, he was once again selected to represent India at the 1st South Asia Youth Karate Cup & 9th South Asian Karate Championship, held from July 2 to 6, 2025, at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka. This prestigious event was organised by the Sri Lanka Karate Do Federation (SLKF), in partnership with the South Asian Karate Do Federation (SAKF) and the Asian Karate Federation (AKF).
Chitraksh’s back-to-back participation and outstanding performances are a testament to his unwavering dedication and the top-tier mentorship he receives from Valena Valentina, India’s No. 1 Karate Kata Guru and Head Coach at V V Karate School, Odisha, an esteemed affiliate of the Bharat Karate Academy.
