Students from Classes VI to VIII of SAI International embarked on an enriching and transformative classroom-based journey through the acclaimed Leader in Me programme. Rooted in the globally respected framework of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, this initiative encouraged young SAIoneers to explore the fundamentals of personal leadership, responsibility, and proactive living.
The session highlighted key habits, with a special focus on Habit 1 – Be Proactive, Habit 5 – Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood, and Habit 7 – Sharpen the Saw. Through vibrant discussions, reflective journaling, and thoughtful activities, students explored how these principles shape not only strong leaders but also compassionate and effective communicators in the 21st century.
A dynamic virtual component added depth to the learning experience, allowing students to engage with ideas beyond the classroom and connect their insights to real-world scenarios. The programme nurtured essential life skills such as empathy, critical thinking, adaptability, and continuous self-improvement, reinforcing SAI International’s commitment to holistic education.
This impactful initiative served as a powerful reminder that leadership begins from within and that every child holds the potential to inspire change.
