Counselling
SAI International School provides counselling, through qualifi ed professionals,
after assessing the intelligence, interest and personality of an individual to identify
the careers in which the individual will succeed and counsel him/her accordingly.
It helps students to select courses based on their level of intelligence, interests,
personality and to prepare for appropriate careers.

The School aims at providing proper counselling programs to help students make
more informed and better educational and career choices; help those students
who have unrealistic perceptions of careers due to a lack of knowledge and poor
decision making. Since students have limited knowledge and exposure to careers,
they underestimate the skills and time required to have successful careers. SIS
provides guidance to the students as per the interests and skill sets and helps
them succeed in their career. SAI believes that selection of subjects, stream or
career should not be by intuition but by aptitude.

To minimize the negative eff ect of peer pressure students, parents and school
must come together to establish workable and eff ective strategies to guide teen
behaviour and to support students to channelize their energy in the right direction.

Scholastic Aptitude Test – SAT
At SAI, students are well informed about higher education opportunities abroad.
We have put in place many useful tools to help in career guidance and college
counselling. If a student is interested in studying abroad SAI becomes the
tethering mechanism between them and the University of their choice regardless
of which continent it is on. SAI is a hub of information about foreign universities
in USA, UK, Canada, Singapore and China. We understand each country’s
college application process and help our students make informed decision about
which foreign universities best suit them. The School’s trained counsellors give in
depth guidance about career programs and courses, cost of living and University
accreditations, they also provide hand holding support through the application

process which can be complicated without proper guidance. To off set this diffi culty
SAI counsellors off er help with common application and UCAS online registrations
and assist its students in selecting the course / career to pursue, university to apply,
and as mentioned earlier, completing the application process including portfolio
compilation with needed documentation like SOP, LOR and Personal Essay. They
can also help students register for IELTS and TOEFL to fulfi l the minimum English
requirements needed to apply at universities abroad. SAI International School
is a SAT Examination Centre allowing our students to register and appear for
the SATs on campus. Guidance towards SAT exam preparation is also provided
if required. SAT which stands for Scholastic Aptitude Test is mandatory entry
exam for Universities in most countries. SAI wants the students to be successful
in pursuing their education goals and dream career while carrying the SAIoneer
torch of excellence forward.

Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing
SAI International School has been recognized as a Cambridge Assessment
Admissions Testing Centre which is a Global network of centres and a part of the
University of Cambridge. The range of tests include subject-specifi c tests, such as
for medicine and healthcare courses and for maths, assessments of critical thinking
and problem-solving skills, behavioural styles assessment. These assessments
help candidates to have fair access to higher education in Cambridge, Oxford and
the Imperial College of London. As a centre, SAI is eligible to register candidates
