SAI International School marked a moment of deep emotional significance with the inauguration of the Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy Block, fulfilling a long-cherished and deeply treasured dream of the school’s beloved Founder, the late Dr. Bijaya Kumar Sahoo. The block has been dedicated to Guruji Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy, Chief Patron of SAI International Education Group, in recognition of his lifelong guidance, wisdom, and unwavering support. The inauguration symbolised not just the addition of an academic structure, but the realisation of a vision built on faith, values, and gratitude.

The ceremony began with a warm welcome to Guruji by the SAI fraternity, followed by the formal inauguration of the block and a visit to the classrooms. The programme later continued at the Indraprastha Auditorium with a felicitation ceremony, lighting of the ceremonial lamp, a soulful choir performance, and a special video presentation highlighting Guruji’s life and philosophy.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Silpi Sahoo, Chairperson, SAI International Education Group, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Guruji for being the guiding force behind the Founder’s vision. She shared that fulfilling this wish of the Founder was made possible through perseverance, reverence, and deep emotional commitment. Despite Guruji’s humility and initial reluctance, her gentle persuasion led to the acceptance of this honour.

At every critical juncture of life, Dr. Bijaya Kumar Sahoo turned to Guruji for counsel and strength. Guruji stood as a silent force behind the Founder, offering clarity during uncertainty and courage during challenges. The existence and growth of SAI International School is deeply rooted in this unshakeable bond of trust and faith. In his address, Guruji Dr. Satpathy shared profound reflections on education, spirituality, and the responsibility of institutions in nurturing enlightened and compassionate global citizens.

The inauguration, held on the eve of Guruji’s birthday, added special meaning to the occasion.
