by SAI Admin

20 September, 2025

On 20th September 2025, SAI International School, in collaboration with Care Hospitals, organised a vital CPR training session for students of Grades IX and X. The initiative aimed to equip young learners with essential lifesaving skills and create awareness about the importance of a timely response during medical emergencies.

The session began with an insightful presentation by healthcare professionals from Care Hospital, who explained the significance of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), its role in saving lives, and the need for immediate action in cases of cardiac arrest or respiratory failure. The theoretical knowledge was then followed by a practical demonstration, where students were guided step-by-step through the CPR process.

Enthusiastic participation by the SAIoneers marked the event as they practised the techniques under expert supervision, learning the correct posture, hand placement, and rhythm needed to perform CPR effectively. The workshop not only strengthened the students’ confidence but also aligned with the school’s vision of imparting 21st-century life skills that go beyond the classroom. The training left the young learners with a sense of empowerment, responsibility, and readiness to act in critical situations.

This initiative was a step forward in fostering a culture of care, preparedness, and compassion among students, preparing them to be both knowledgeable learners and empathetic contributors to society.
