The corridors of SAI International School resonated with innovation and inquiry as the Humanities Model Competition was held, offering a vibrant platform for Class XI and XII Humanities students to present their out-of-the-box ideas and creative projects.

The competition highlighted the interdisciplinary strength of Humanities, with models drawn from subjects such as Political Science, English, History, Sociology, Psychology, and Economics. Students went beyond textbooks, applying classroom knowledge to real-world contexts and reimagining solutions to contemporary challenges.

Some of the remarkable projects included The Future of Political Warfare, Social Media Effect on Behaviour, Indus Water Treaty, Bhagavad Gita & Its Influence, and Wheels of Faith, among others. Each model reflected not only research and analytical depth but also the creativity and critical thinking that define Humanities.

The event was further enriched by the presence of distinguished judges — Dr. Biranchi Narayan P. Panda, Associate Professor of Law, XIM University, and Prof. Asima Sahu, former Professor of Political Science, Ravenshaw University. Their expert insights and feedback provided invaluable learning for the young participants, motivating them to explore more diverse perspectives.

The Humanities Model Competition stood as a testament to the school’s belief in learning beyond routine, where students are encouraged to question assumptions, express ideas creatively, and develop a holistic understanding of society and its complexities. It was truly a celebration of knowledge, curiosity, and the power of Humanities to shape change.
