September 5 is a special day for the teachers as well as the students around the world. It is a day to celebrate the Teachers world over. When the children say “Thank You Teachers”, it means the world to the them. Because its the teachers who carve the future of the country by being inspirations, critiques and mentors of the future leaders. SAI International School students celebrated the Teacher’s Day on September 5, 2019 with vivacity, exuberance, effervescence and a sparkle in their eyes to say a big THANK YOU to their teachers in the Indraprastha auditorium of the School.

The Cultural Program – The day started with a ceremonial welcome of the teachers with tilak-chandan and a devotional dance performance by the students. To make the teachers feel special students held a row of cultural shows and a drama, dedicated to them. To whole event was very interactive as the students held some short quizzes with the teachers.

Appreciating the love showered by the students the teachers too performed and offered a tribute to the Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan through their performances.

Words of Wisdom by the Founder

Founder, SAI International Education Group, Dr. Bijaya Kumar Sahoo was overwhelmed by the various performances and while addressing the students he appealed to them to resolve into better beings and go beyond ‘I, Me and Myself’ and work towards building a better self, state and the nation along and spread happiness around.

While sharing his words with the teachers Dr. Sahoo emphasized upon the role of a teacher; to create a happy class and bring out the best in the child and help the child grow better in a positive and happy environment.
