Shri Amitabh Jhingan is a Partner at Ernst & Young and the Former CEO, GEMS Education India. He has over 20 years of Professional experience across General Management, Strategy, Business Planning and Growth, Operations, M&A and Finance. He has worked with Arthur Andersen, Ernst & Young, Grant Thornton and GEMS Education over the course of his career. He is currently the Co-Chair of the FICCI K-12 Committee and has been closely involved with the School and Higher Education Sectors over the last 10 years. He has worked with a wide range of clients which include Pearson, Bertelesmann, Sri Chaitanya, GEMS Education, Symbiosis, Apollo Healthcare, Manipal, IFC, Interglobe, Bennett Coleman, Educomp Solutions, TIME, Aakash etc. He is passionate about Education and believes that the application of rigour across all aspects of education delivery, evidence based measurement of outcomes and implementation of best in class operating and people practices across educational institutions, can significantly enhance the quality in the classroom.
